Even though this was a rerun, David Letterman's guest was Gwyneth Paltrow. They spent a good 5 minutes discussing the fact that they had both quit cigarettes and how much better life was without smoking. Gwyneth stated that she is now an adamant anti-smoker.

I watched David Letterman last week and he had Brook Shields as a guest. Brook talked about how the movie company was having her smoke during a certain scene in her latest movie. She said that she never smoke before and that she thought it was very gross.

I find it very interesting that these movie companies have the stars smoke in certain scenes and/or throughout the whole movie. I feel this is a way that the tobacco companies are making a whole lot of money. The tobacco companies are influencing the movie companies.
